Barb is sitting with next door neighbor Joe who is a munitions engineer. Joe helped dave confirm the pitch angle of the roof rafters and cuttingangles for the bird mouth joints and trafter tails. Joe likes to rib Dave about all the minute detail work that is "unecessary". Dave doesn't listen and tells Joe to stick to his gatling gun designs. (Joe was off by 1/2 degree in his angle calculations!) July 26, 2003
